Up-beat and sometimes off beat music from the 6-piece Pygmies. Comprising three saxes, double bass, guitar ad drums,playing afro, Latin, ska-jazz, blues and should. They play both original music and music from the likes of Abdullah Ibrahim, the Brecker Brothers, Oscar Hernandez,The Skatalites, Eddie Hrris and Lionel Bart (yes, really!) “Jaunty jazz, bolshy blues and frantic funk from Pygmies – a sextet of 3 saxes, guitar + vocals, bass & drums.
